The week couldn’t get any better than this.
The National Basketball Association (NBA) just launched the first Filipino Heritage Week, a way to celebrate Philippine culture with Filipino fans the world over, running from March 13 until 19, with three must-watch games headlining the bill.
As part of the NBA Filipino Heritage Week, the Golden State Warriors and the Miami will hold Heritage Nights, which will showcase in-arena Philippine-themed activations, including musical performances and a whole lot of giveaways.
Featured games will be the Miami Heat, coached by Filipino-American Erik Spoelstra, going against the New Orleans Pelicans, headed by the formidable frontcourt of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, and the young Minnesota Timberwolves, led by reigning Rookie of the Year, Karl-Anthony Towns.

There’s no reason to miss the action because all the games will be aired live on Basketball TV. Here’s the schedule of the games:
March 16 (March 15 U.S.) – Heat vs. New Orleans Pelicans: 7:00 AM LIVE
March 18 (March 17 U.S.) – Heat vs. Timberwolves: 8:00 AM LIVE
March 19 (March 18 U.S.) – Warriors vs. Bucks: 10:30 AM LIVE
Also part of the Heritage Week is a viewing party attended by an NBA legend Glen Rice, an NBA Cares event, and social media activations on NBA’s Facebook and Twitter accounts in the Philippines.
